Hi, all. It’s Ai.
Have you ever heard of Tanabata?
Two stars (Vega and Altair) separated by the milky way can come very close to each other only once a year in Summer. This event inspired ancient Chinese imagination and a legend was created.
Vega and Altair are lovers and they are allowed to meet each other only once a year.
This Chinese legend was brought to Japan and upon this day Japanese write a wish on a strip of colourful paper under the sky and hung them to a bamboo tree, believing the wish will be delivered to the sky and will come true.
This year, Pint for JAPAN decided to hold a campaign in relation to this traditional Japanese culture, Tanabata.
It’s very simple. Write a message and wishes for people who are still in the devastating area in Japan.
Would you like to know how you can participate in this campaign? Then, please keep yourself updated with this website:) More details to follow soon!
